Little Elm Extension is Open
The City of Cedar Park and Williamson County officially dedicated the Little Elm Trail Extension Project in a ribbon cutting ceremony on January 26th. It extends Little Elm from South Lakeline Boulevard to North Bell (old highway 183). It provides an additional east-west route to drivers, helping alleviate congestion on Cypress Creek Road. The project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
Proposed Zoning Change Affects Lakeline Oaks
Owners of the Soccer Zone, located at 920 Old Mill Road, have submitted a request to rezone almost 3 acres from Local Retail to Open Space Recreation. Nearby residents have objected to the increased noise and traffic related to activities at Soccer Zone activities. They fear that, if the rezoning is approved, the noise, traffic and parking problems will increase. Copies of the Notice of Public Hearing on a Proposed Zoning Change and Information on Public Hearings are attached below.
The Board of Directors is researching replacement of mailboxes in Lakeline Oaks because they are scruffy and more parcel boxes are needed. Sidewalks at some mailbox locations have been repaired. Residents are encouraged to send comments to the board through the Blog on this web site.

2017 LLO HOA Fees are Unchanged
During the 2017 fiscal year, Lakeline Oaks home owners will continue to enjoy reduced HOA fees as in 2016. In the May, 2016 board meeting, HOA President Robert Kenny stated that it is the intent of the Board to maintain a reserve of about $ 100,000 for annual HOA expenses. Because that level had recently been exceeded, the Board decided to reduce monthly fees by 50%. Goodwin Management sent letters to all home owners explaining the change in fees.
