New Xeriscaping Standards for Lakeline Oaks have been approved To enable residents to conserve water by installing drought-resistant landscaping and water-conserving natural turf, Xeriscaping guidelines have been approved. The guidelines include proportions of full green lawn (turf) and non-turf ground cover, acceptable materials, descriptions of borders and decorative objects plus ten popular Texas xeriscaping plants.
Responding to residents’ complaints about the size and appearance of the current boxes, information was provided showing the proposed boxes. The estimated cost of $30,000 will come from the existing surplus funds. Following discussion with residents present at the meeting, the Board of Directors agreed to replace the mailboxes in Lakeline Oaks.
The Architecture Control Committee has 10 days to respond to Architectural Applications for improvements. Between 10/23/16 and through 07/11/17 these projects were approved: 2 Decks, 6 Landscapes, 2 Sheds, 1 Basketball goal, 1 hot tub, 1 roof, 1 fence, 1 window, 1 exterior stonework project and 1 Painting project.
